Educate:  To provide with knowledge.

But let’s face it, sometimes education can be a little boring. Why not do it with a little fun and flair? That’s exactly what promo products can help you do! Customized journal books, logoed usb drives with data loads, signage…all of these things can educate your customers in a way that will keep them paying attention. For example:

A major health company uses journal books for their off site meetings.  The custom printed pages within help reinforce their mission, personal purpose; and with a heartfelt thank you message, raise employee morale.

An international Bolt distributor uses a custom bolt shaped usb thumb drive to distribute their pre-loaded catalog to customers and prospects, making it easy for them to take the catalog to the machine room or the warehouse floor if needed.

A professional services organization greets those that enter their foyer with a printed banner showing all the services they provide, and is often replied “I didn’t know you did that too!”.

A home service provider uses a small binder with tabs to give tips on caring for the upholstery they just reconditioned, the carpet they just cleaned, and the curtains & shades they just cleaned, leaving customers relieved that they can handle small spills & accidents.

An ophthalmologist gives a bottle of spray lens cleaner and a microfiber cleaning cloth with information on how to care for their new lenses.

INSIDER TIPS:

You know promotional products work, but how do you build a case within your company for using promotional products? Capitalize on your successes by publishing your case histories throughout your company. How do you do it?

Challenge: My CEO thinks promotional products are too costly and is looking to cut our budget. How do I convince her that promo products can actually make our company money?

Solution: Provide concise information on the purpose of the product and the results you have achieved. Build a case for promo products using specific needs you addressed and measurable results you achieved.

Ex: Our service people were meeting clients and there was resistance to open the door. Because the service people were not uniformed, customers were not sure they represented our company. For about $250.00 we were able to provide 15 service people a polo to wear to greet our customers. The service people were able to get in the door quicker and complete their assignments faster. Customers reported higher satisfaction rates because they remembered the technician that had our logo on. So, we measured an increase in productivity and improved customer image at the same time, for about $15.00 per technician.

Challenge: Our pharmacy has a booth at a regional BBQ contest and we want to give out something that makes us stand out from all of the regular freebies.

Solution: We created "pill bottles" that looked just like prescription medicine filled with mints (and properly labeled the bottles of course!). The attendees loved the idea and really appreciated the minty fresh breath! We increased the referral rate and built goodwill in the process.

Challenge: Our business is on a large thoroughfare, but set back about 30 feet from the street, and we're also about 10' below street level. Our building sign is barely visible from the street. How do I get my business noticed despite all these hurdles?

Solution: We created a double sided, 17 foot high sign with a sturdy base that stands up to wind. Our bright colors and logo attracts customers and pulls them in from the thoroughfare. We're very happy with our attraction rate.
